SARAH MELAMED (Costume Design)

Sarah is in her fourth year of Set and Costume design/production at York University. Costume Design credits include Jesus Christ Superstar (Scarborough Music Theatre, Asst. Designer), Into the Woods (Showtime productions, Designer), Once Upon A Mattress (Showtime Productions, Designer), Little Shop of Horrors (Just Off Centre Productions, Asst. costumer), and Chess (Markham Youth Theatre, Designer). She has also been involved with TheatreCorp’s “Festival Players” as production assistant, designer, and technician for the past four years. Sarah has worked on Properties for York University’s Princess Ivona’s Wedding, and as a dresser for their rendition of Betty’s Summer Vacation. Sarah’s haute-couture clothing design company offers customized women’s and children’s wear, and mentorship programs for sewing and design enthusiasts. She is thrilled to work on Evita with such a fabulous team. Thanks to all for such a warm welcome into this “Family.”
