TWAINE WARD [RICHIE]
Twaine discovered showbiz quite accidentally. He started singing at an early age and, accompanied by his two younger brothers, provided private concerts for family and friends in such locales as St. Petersburg, Florida and Port of Spain, Trinidad. Dancing and acting came later. Purely on a whim, he studied performing arts at Wexford Collegiate Institute's Music Theatre Program in his hometown of Toronto, where his amateur debut role was Paul in A Chorus Line. Since then, his talents (and charisma) have lead him to stages and festivals in Charlottetown PE, Victoria BC, Calgary AB, Boise ID, Oakville ON and Toronto ON. He was able to do this through the help of various companies and performing groups such as Spirit of a Nation, Wexford Music Theatre, Artists Elite International, Tryzub, Blue Collar Dance Company and others.
Now, thanks to Michael Rubinoff, Twaine has the sensational opportunity to professionally debut in A Chorus Line, this time as Richie! (You should hear the story how he got this one! Thanks for keeping him in mind, Hillary)
Throughout the many years of intermittent inactivity, auditions, roles, classes, schooling and lessons learned along the way, Twaine has had the support of numerous special people. Mommy, Daddy, Damon, Le Schawn, Farha, Kawa, to name a few, plus too many more to list here, you each have his quintessential thanks. He would also like to extend genuine gratitude to all the men, women and children who have influenced or enriched his life experience: May all beings be happy.
