RHODA MAE GALLARDO [CONNIE]
Rhoda Mae Gallardo graduated from the Liverpool Institute for Performing
Arts (LIPA)in the class of 2000. For three years she studied music, acting
and dance and graduated with a BA in performing arts. In 1995, she was a
member of the production "NOYES FLUDDE" which was Canada's contribution to
the United Nations 50th Jubilee and toured to Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and
San Francisco. Vocally she had trained with Eleanor Calbes and was a
memeber of the Toronto Mendelssohn Youth Choir, Culture Phillippines Dance
Troupe, and Siony's Hawaiian/Polynesian Dance Company. Rhoda Mae is very
active in the Philippino Community having performed for many benefit galas,
associaion fundraising events, at the welcoming for the President of the
Phillippines earlier this year, the Asia Pacific Arts festival at the
Harbourfront last August and at the Skydome for the 100th Centennial
celebration of the Philippines Independance in 1998.
Rhoda would like to thank her family and friends for all of their
continual love, support, and encouragement that had enabled her the
strength and determination to go for her dreams. A Chorus Line marks
her first theatrical performance since graduating and returning to
Toronto. Rhoda would like to thank Michael Rubinoff for giving her such a
wonderful and exciting opportunity!
