MICHAEL RUBINOFF'S PRODUCTION OF
A CHORUS LINE OPENS IN FOUR DAYS!

Michael Rubinoff’s production of the legendary Broadway musical, A Chorus Line, previews this Friday, August 9, 8PM and has its official opening the following night, Saturday, August 10, 2002, 8PM at the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts, Jane Mallett Theatre. The Opening Night Party will be held at Shopsy’s Delicatessen across from the theatre at 33 Yonge Street.

Press passes for all performances, including Opening Night, are available by contacting Daniel Malen at 416.993.7241 or malen@mrubinoff.com. Opening Night is sold out to the public, but good seats are still available for all performances. Tickets can be purchased through the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts Box Office, in person or by calling 416.366.7723 . Tickets are $22 and $27 and $2 off the Friday, August 9, preview.

A Chorus Line is staged as an audition, with dancers trying out for a part in the chorus of a forthcoming Broadway musical. Rather than have the dancers perform, Zach, the authoritative director, interrogates the seventeen finalists about their lives, dreams, fears, and fantasies.

Michael Rubinoff is committed to revitalizing mid-sized musical theatre in the City of Toronto. A Chorus Line is the first in a series of musicals to be produced by the company.
