TORONTO CAST OF A CHORUS LINE CELEBRATES HONEST ED
MIRVISHS BIRTHDAY WITH TWO LIVE PERFORMANCES
Michael Rubinoff is pleased to announce that the Toronto cast of A CHORUS LINE, will salute one of Torontos most treasured citizens, Ed Mirvish, with performances on City TVs Breakfast Television and at Eds Birthday Party.
To promote Ed Mirvishs Birthday Party, The cast will perform One and Montage 4, live on Breakfast Television on Friday, July 19 between 7:00am. and 9:00am. The cast will perform the same numbers on Sunday, July 21 at the celebration, directly following the official ceremonies, which begin at 11:30am. The stage will be located in Mirvish Village. During Sundays performance, Honest Ed Mirvish will join the line.
A Chorus Line is staged as an audition, with dancers trying out for a part in the chorus of a forthcoming Broadway musical. Rather than have the dancers perform, Zach, the authoritative director, interrogates the seventeen finalists about their lives, dreams, fears, and fantasies.
Michael Rubinoff is committed to revitalizing mid-size musical theatre in the City of Toronto. A Chorus Line is the first in a series of musicals to be produced by the company.
