JORDAN KANNER [AL]
Jordan is thrilled to be making his debut in Michael Rubinoff's production of A Chorus Line. Performing has been a big part of Jordan's life from the age of 5 when he took his first acting class at Leah Posluns Theatre. While attending York University, he became involved with Vanier College Productions which put on a number of shows throughout the school year. He also had the privilege of joining the Vanier Improv Company. Around the same time, Jordan became involved with Stage Centre Productions, a local community theatre group. With them, Jordan had the opportunity to perform in The Government Inspector, and Night of the Iguana. For the last 3 years, Jordan has been working towards a Fine Arts degree in acting at Ryerson Polytechnic University. While studying at the University, Jordan has had the opportunity to tackle such roles as Henry V, Richard II, Trigorin, from The Seagull, Alan from Dance of Death Part II, John from Summer and Smoke, Hodge from Gammer Gurton's Needle, Rolly from Suburban Motel (Criminal Genius), and Robert in the musical Company. As well, this past year, Jordan received the prestigious "Gladys Shibley Mitchell Memorial Award" for academic proficiency and exceptional ability in and dedication to the performing arts. Jordan is looking forward to a fulfilling career on both the stage and screen.
